Restaurant websites, built in a sentence.
Describe the place and Nektr builds the site. The menu is yours to change, so the specials board and the website can finally agree.
Small plates · Natural wine
Open from five, most days until late.
Twenty covers, one changing menu, and a short list of wine we actually like drinking.
This week
- Cured trout, dill
- Lamb, wild garlic
- Burnt custard tart
An example restaurants site. Not a real business.
The menu changed on Tuesday. The website still says Monday.
Most restaurant sites are a PDF menu from two years ago and opening hours nobody has touched since. That is the exact information people are searching for at seven on a Friday, and getting it wrong sends them somewhere else.
01
A menu you edit between services
Dishes, prices, and sections you change from your phone. No PDF to re-export, no designer to email, no version that only opens on a laptop.
02
Opening hours people can trust
Hours sit in the header and in the page markup, which is what search engines read when someone asks whether you are open now.
03
Bookings wherever you already take them
Send people to the booking system you use, or take enquiries by email if you would rather keep it simple. Either way the button is where people look for it.
04
Food photography that fills the page
Layouts built around large images, because people choose where to eat with their eyes. Upload your own shots and the page adapts to them.
Questions restaurants ask
- Can I change the menu myself?
- Yes, and that is the point. Dishes and prices are entries you edit directly, from a phone if you are standing in the kitchen. Content edits never cost a prompt.
- Does it take bookings?
- It links to the booking system you already use, and it can take enquiries by email. Nektr does not run its own reservation book.
- Will my opening hours show up in Google?
- The site publishes clean, structured pages with your hours and address, which is what search engines read. That helps, but your Google Business Profile is what most people see first, so keep that current too.
- Can I show a different menu for lunch and dinner?
- Yes. Menus are just content, so you can run as many as you need and label them however your service is organised.
- What if I have no food photography yet?
- The site uses neutral imagery until you upload your own. It will never invent a review, a rating, or a photograph of somebody else's food and pass it off as yours.
