Terms
The agreement between you and Nektr. Plain language, and we mean all of it.
You own what you build
Your site, its content, and anything you upload are yours. We hold only the licence we need to store, render, and serve them on your behalf while your account is open. We don't claim ownership of AI-generated output. That's yours too.
Plans and prompts
Paid plans include a monthly allowance of AI prompts. Editing your own content, using planning chat, and publishing are unlimited and never counted. Allowances reset monthly and don't roll over. Run out and your site stays live and editable; you just can't ask the AI for new work until the allowance resets or you upgrade.
Publishing and domains
Free sites are published on a nektr.dev subdomain and carry a small Nektr badge. Paid plans can connect a domain you own and remove the badge. You're responsible for registering and renewing your own domain.
What you publish
You're responsible for the content of your site. Don't use Nektr for:
- anything unlawful, or content that infringes someone else's rights
- malware, phishing, or deceptive pages
- sending unsolicited bulk email to addresses collected through your forms
We may suspend a site that breaches this, and will tell you why. Where the situation allows, we'll contact you before acting.
Your visitors' data
Form submissions and mailing-list signups belong to you, and you are the data controller for them. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to contact the people who submit them, and for your own privacy notice. See our privacy page for what we store and who processes it.
AI output
Pages are generated by an AI model. Review anything it produces before you publish it, particularly prices, claims about your business, and anything a customer might rely on. We don't warrant that generated content is accurate, original, or suitable for a given purpose.
Availability
We aim for high availability but don't offer an uptime guarantee. Published sites are static files on a global CDN, so they generally stay up even when the editor doesn't.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your billing page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, any connected custom domain disconnects and your site reverts to its nektr.dev subdomain with the badge restored. Nothing is deleted, and reconnecting takes one click if you come back.
If we shut down
If Nektr ceases operation we'll give you reasonable notice and publish an export tool so you can take your published sites elsewhere.
Changes
We'll email you before making a material change to these terms or to pricing on an existing plan.
