Taking new patients this month.
A small practice on Fern Street. Evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

An example dental site. Not a real business.
A new patient checks three things before they call.
Whether you take their insurance, whether you are accepting new patients, and what the person holding the drill looks like. Most practice sites answer none of those above the fold, and the patient moves on to the next result.
01
New patient information, up top
Whether you are accepting new patients, which plans you work with, and what the first visit involves. These are the three questions that decide whether someone calls.
02
The team, as people
A photograph and a short introduction for each clinician and hygienist. Dentistry is a trust purchase, and a stock image of somebody else's practice does the opposite of building it.
03
A page for each treatment
Implants, whitening, and emergency appointments are separate searches by people in very different moods. One page each, written for the person searching it.
04
Appointment requests to your front desk
A short form with the name, the reason, and when they can come in, emailed to whichever inbox your desk actually watches. Or link to the booking system you already run.
Questions dentists ask
- Can I list the insurance plans we accept?
- Yes. Plans are content you edit yourself, so you can update the list the week a contract changes rather than waiting on a web developer.
- Does it take bookings directly?
- It sends appointment requests to your inbox, and links to whatever booking or practice management system you already use. Nektr does not run its own appointment book and does not connect to practice management software.
- Is the site HIPAA compliant?
- The website is marketing, not a patient portal. Enquiry forms send an email, so treat them exactly as you treat an email from a patient. Do not use the site to collect medical histories or any protected health information, and keep clinical records in your practice management system.
- Can I use photographs of my own practice?
- Yes, and you should. Upload your own team and interior shots. The site will never invent a patient review, a rating, or a credential you have not given it.
- Can our front desk update the site?
- Yes. Editing text, swapping photographs, and updating hours are ordinary content changes that anyone you invite can make, and they never cost a prompt.
